Accounting & Operations Executive (Full-Set Accounts)

We are looking for a sharp, detail-driven Accounting & Operations Executive to join our small team. You will look after the accounts for a small group of companies, including investment holding entities, and get hands-on exposure to the full finance cycle, with guidance along the way.

This role suits someone who does not take numbers at face value. You check the details to find the answers. A background in audit, internal controls, an accounting firm, or credit control/AP in a well-controlled environment is a strong advantage.

What You Will Do

Accounts

- Handle the full set of accounts for multiple entities: AP, AR, general ledger, bank reconciliations, accruals and month-end and year-end closing

- Prepare quarterly GST returns and support corporate tax filings (Form C/C-S), or we can teach you.

- Make salary payments and CPF submissions (we can teach you how to handle IR8A)

- Reconcile bank and investment statements and follow up on discrepancies

- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents and corporate secretaries

- Help strengthen internal controls, approval workflows and documentation

Operations

- Help control cost. Check vendor invoices against quotations, contracts and agreed rates to make sure we are charged correctly

- Monitor spending, flag overcharges or unusual costs, and follow up with vendors on corrections or credit notes

- Process payments and track recurring expenses and other administrative matters for the company and the Director

- Support company administration, vendor management and compliance filings

- Improve processes and make good use of cloud accounting and AI tools

- Handle confidential information with discretion

- Assist in other business operations matters

What We Are Looking For

- Diploma or degree in Accountancy or equivalent

- 1–2 years of hands-on experience with full-set accounts

- Experience in any of the following is a strong advantage:

– External audit

– Internal audit or internal controls

– An accounting firm handling full-set accounts for multiple clients

– Credit control or accounts payable in a company with strong approval and payment controls

- Working knowledge of GST and Singapore tax and CPF requirements

- Experience with Zoho Books, QuickBooks Online or other cloud accounting software is a plus

- Meticulous and great with numbers

- Curious and problem-solving: you spot things that do not look right and raise them and follow through to resolve them

- Salary: SGD3,300 – 4,000/month, commensurate with experience.

- Interns will receive a monthly allowance during the internship, and a full-time offer upon successful completion and graduation. International graduates and interns from NUS/NTU/SMU will be offered an Employment Pass.
