Job Scope:

• Manage daily accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and revenue recognition for assigned products or business segments.

• Support month-end closing activities, ensuring timely closure and reviewing manual journal entries and adjustments for accuracy.

• Prepare payment disbursement slips and approve payment workflows within the system in accordance with internal controls.

• Monitor expenses and prepare accruals for assigned products or segments.

• Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of accounting documents for audit purposes, and assist auditors with sampling and vouching when required.

• Prepare manual invoices and debit notes as and when necessary.

• Follow up on overdue receivables, investigate discrepancies, and respond to queries from the Risk department.

• Perform ad-hoc duties, tasks, and projects as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Possess at least a Diploma, LCCI, or CAT qualification in Accounting.

• Minimum 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience.

• Prior experience in the trading industry will be an advantage.

• Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in reporting.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to multi-task, work independently when required, and collaborate effectively as a team player.
