The Accounting Officer manages the firm's accounting, full set of accounts, payroll, and administrative functions, ensuring accurate financial records, compliant handling of client and trust accounts, effective billing and collections, and proper HR administration. The role supports management through reliable reporting while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Maintain full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. Maintain accurate financial records, general ledgers, and journals.
Prepare monthly financial statements, budgets, cash flow, and expense reports.
Record, verify, and reconcile company expenses while monitoring budgets and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Process accounts payable and receivable, including vendor invoices, receipts, payments, and aging reports.
Prepare and submit GST returns on a periodic basis in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Manage client and trust accounts in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Process payroll, statutory deductions, reimbursements, and maintain employee records, attendance, and leave records.
Support recruitment, onboarding, HR policies, audits, and regulatory compliance.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience handling full set accounts, payroll, and administrative functions.
Experience in GST preparation and submission is preferred.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel and Word.
High level of accuracy, organization, integrity, and confidentiality.
