Job description
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager within a Shared Service environment. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily shared service accounting operations with the ability to make contribution to effective operations.
- Prepare, monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports or statements including consolidation, budget, etc.
- Support Corporate Tax team on annual corporate tax information or any tax queries.
- Liaise with stakeholders on service deliverable and communication including other team members within the shared service team.
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits or support any internal audit requirements.
- Review exiting processes and provide recommendations to improve systems and procedures including implementation of financial tools to improve operational activities.
- Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
- In-charge of annual office insurance approval activities.
- Ensure compliance with J-SOX standards and regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements
- CPA with Professional Accounting Qualification, ACCA, CIMA, Degree in Accounting, etc.
- Min 10 years experience in accounting
- People Manager experience in finance shared services environment.
- Experience SAP user and familiar financial tools.
- Ability to review and process large data sets.
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
- High attention to details and accuracy.
- People and customer centric mindset.
