Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations to maintain accurate financial records and support business objectives
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets to inform management decisions
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger to ensure timely and accurate processing
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements to maintain financial integrity
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff to enhance team performance and professional development
- Assist in financial planning and cost control initiatives to optimize resource allocation and profitability
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Previous supervisory or managerial experience
- Proficient in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and lead teams
