ACCOUNTANT (EXCLUDING TAX ACCOUNTANT)

An accountant manages, analyzes, and reports an organization's financial transactions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and financial health. Key duties include reconciling bank statements, processing accounts payable/receivable, preparing tax returns, and conducting audits. They assist management in decision-making through financial analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

. Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and maintain accurate balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.

. Reconciliation & Compliance: Reconcile bank statements, balance accounts, and ensure compliance with local/international financial regulations and tax laws.

. Transactional Management:

Oversee daily, monthly, and yearly expenses, invoices, and payroll.

. Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits to ensure accuracy.

. Financial Advice: Analyze data to recommend cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and profit maximization strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

. Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) or IFRS.

. Software Proficiency: Experience with accounting software like QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle NetSuite, and advanced MS Excel skill

. Communication: Ability to explain complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.

. Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), or similar certification is often preferred.

. Previous experience in accounting roles is generally required.
