Accounting Manager
Reporting directly to the Group Controller, this role will oversee financial reporting, operational accounting, and regional coordination, while playing a pivotal role in building and managing a high-performing finance team.
The Accounting Manager will support investments in Indonesia and work closely with counterparties in Europe and the USA, ensuring strong governance, compliance, and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day accounting function, including transaction oversight, reconciliations and month-end/year-end close.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with statutory, group and regional requirements.
- Partner with the Group Controller on regional consolidation, investment reporting and cross-border financial coordination.
- Build, lead, and mentor a growing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Strengthen internal controls, accounting processes and reporting frameworks to support organisational growth.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and counterparties in Indonesia, Europe, and the USA to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Manage external audit processes end-to-end, serving as the primary liaison with auditors to ensure smooth, timely and compliant audits.
- Oversee tax matters and statutory compliance across relevant jurisdictions.
- Support strategic initiatives, financial analysis and special projects as directed by the Group Controller.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA).
- Min 8 years & above progressive accounting experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, operational accounting and managing external audits.
- Prior experience with external audit in a large CPA firm is strongly preferred.
- Regional exposure with experience handling cross-border investments and international stakeholders.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, consolidation and compliance.
- Effective leadership and people management skills with the ability to build and inspire a team.
