About the role
As the Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the company's financial accounting and reporting operations. This Contract to full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and contribute to the continued growth and success of our organisation.
What you'll be doing
- Lead and manage accounting team for daily accounting functions
- Monitor and review timely monthly, quarterly, annual financial statements and management reports.
- Oversee Inventory record, Fixed Asset schedule and Audit schedule
- Handle monthly GST submission, annual corporate tax returns, and other statutory filings.
- Supervise and review performance of accounting team
- Manage business cash flows for forecasting and budget planning
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide insights and recommendations to management to support business strategy.
- Implement policies, procedures, and safeguards to ensure the integrity of financial data, prevent fraud, and mitigate risks.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and statutory bodies, ensuring compliance with local financial and tax regulations.
- Initiate the system enhancement and process improvement for work efficiency.
- Ad-hoc task assigned by management.
What we're looking for
- Degree in Accounting/Commerce/Business or Chartered Accountant
- At least 15years working experience in relevant capacity
- Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
- Detail-oriented, analytical mindset, with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience in ERP system and accounting software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with Management and stakeholders
