Job Description

About the role
As the Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the company's financial accounting and reporting operations. This Contract to full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and contribute to the continued growth and success of our organisation.


What you'll be doing

  • Lead and manage accounting team for daily accounting functions
  • Monitor and review timely monthly, quarterly, annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Oversee Inventory record, Fixed Asset schedule and Audit schedule
  • Handle monthly GST submission, annual corporate tax returns, and other statutory filings.
  • Supervise and review performance of accounting team
  • Manage business cash flows for forecasting and budget planning
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide insights and recommendations to management to support business strategy.
  • Implement policies, procedures, and safeguards to ensure the integrity of financial data, prevent fraud, and mitigate risks.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and statutory bodies, ensuring compliance with local financial and tax regulations.
  • Initiate the system enhancement and process improvement for work efficiency.
  • Ad-hoc task assigned by management.


What we're looking for

  • Degree in Accounting/Commerce/Business or Chartered Accountant
  • At least 15years working experience in relevant capacity
  • Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical mindset, with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience in ERP system and accounting software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with Management and stakeholders
