Accounting Manager - 1 Year Contract (Intercompany Expert)
Our client is an established player in their field and are hiring an Accounting Manager (1-Year Contract Position) based in Singapore. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands on experience with intercompany reconciliation and SAP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage monthly and quarterly financial closing and reporting activities across multiple entities, including consolidation.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in line with internal and external requirements.
- Drive improvements in accounting processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Support process mapping and documentation to strengthen financial reporting frameworks.
- Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to align on reporting and process requirements.
- Participate in ad hoc projects, including system or process transitions.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting/Finance professional qualifications (CA/CPA) preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in accounting and financial reporting, ideally with audit plus commercial exposure.
- Strong knowledge of full sets of accounts, month-end closing, and reporting processes.
- Prior experience in process improvements, process mapping, or system implementation projects.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) is a must.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders across regions.
- Comfortable with a contract position and hybrid working model.
