Are you looking to grow your career in accounting and finance, with a focus on international operations Join our team in Singapore as an Accounting/Finance Associate (Overseas Accounting) and help manage financial processes, reporting, and compliance for our international branches and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support overseas accounting operations, including preparation and consolidation of financial statements
- Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable for international entities
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate policies
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes for overseas entities
- Coordinate with international teams to gather necessary financial data and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Assist with external audits and liaise with auditors to provide necessary documentation and explanations
- Provide support for tax filing and regulatory compliance in foreign jurisdictions
- Help implement and improve accounting systems and processes for international operations
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on international accounting preferred
- Strong understanding of international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and tax regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Xero) and MS Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus
- Must have the legal right to work in Singapore (Singaporean citizen, PR, or valid work pass)
