Job Summary
As an Accounting Executive at Dada Consultants, you will be responsible for supporting the company's day-to-day financial accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records. Reporting to our CFO, this role requires strong attention to detail, good accounting knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately record financial transactions including invoices, receipts, payments, payroll-related entries, and journal entries into the accounting system.
- Assist in maintaining the general ledger, including reviewing and reconciling accounts for month-end and year-end closing.
- Assist with regular bank reconciliations to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records. Flag and resolve any discrepancies as needed.
- Track and process accounts payable invoices and accounts receivables for timely payments and support internal follow-ups on outstanding payments.
- Review employee expense claims for accuracy and compliance to company policy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports, financial statements, and supporting schedules.
- Support company budgeting and expense tracking activities.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards, statutory regulations and internal control procedures.
- Assist CFO in preparing documentation needed for internal and external financial audits
- Support finance-related ad-hoc tasks, process improvements, and special projects as necessary.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in professional services, or SME environment.
- Experience handling full or partial sets of accounts is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with Singapore statutory requirements (e.g. GST, CPF) is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software like Xero.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential financial and payroll information with integrity.
- Proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn.
- Good written and verbal communication skills for internal coordination and reporting.
