Accounting Admin Staff (Part Time, Japanese speaking)

• Location: Buona Vista (Near MRT Station)
• Able to commit 4 hours/ day, 2 to 3 times per week

Job Description:

Accounting

• Expense Reimbursement Approval - Verify and approve expense reimbursement forms.
• Monthly Closing Support - Handle journal entries for HQ and branch, prepare branch closing reports, and respond to related inquiries.
• Cash Management - Bank transfers, accounts payable clearing, cash flow management, inquiry handling, and bank reconciliation.
• Personnel Expense Management - Coordinate with the HR department on personnel-related costs (e.g., bonuses), and record related expenses.
• Year-End Closing - Prepare closing adjustment entries and reconcile differences between accounting standards.
• Financial Reporting - Support statutory audits (Japan + Singapore) and ACRA reporting.

Tax

• GST Handling - Quarterly GST calculation, filing, payment, and support for InvoiceNow.
• ICT Handling - Provide information to audit corporation, respond to inquiries, and process payments.
• GTMR Handling - Provide information and respond to inquiries from the holding company (HD).
• Transfer Pricing Compliance - Work with the HD to ensure proper handling of transfer pricing matters.

Support other administrative duties as required

Job Requirements:

• With knowledge and experience in Accounting and Taxation
• Able to converse in Advanced Japanese proficiency level to engage with Japanese stakeholders in Japan and for handling of Japanese documents/ systems
• Able to commit on long term basis
