We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our finance team. As an Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Responsibilities:
. Processing billing and receipts. Reviewing on AP/GL transactions
. GST quarterly review and assist in various government survey forms.
. Monthly and yearly reconciliation on intercompany transactions and closing balance.
. Perform accurate month-end and year-end closing activities, including bank reconciliation, and analyzing financial data for accuracy and completeness.
. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
. Prepare monthly financial management report and support schedules.
. Prepare monthly cash flow statements (eg: indirect method).
. Provide accurate and timely financial information to management.
. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
. Assist in preparation of budget and forecasting
. Coordinate and support annual audits, tax compliance and other statutory reporting requirements
Requirements:
. Degree in Accountancy / Finance / Business / ACCA holder or equivalent preferred with 4-5 years experience
. ACCA/ACCA/CPA qualification is preferred with prior Big 4 or similar practice accounting background an advantage
. Strong analytical abilities and financial modelling skills, as well as a strong understanding of financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cashflow statments)
. Proven ability to manage full sets of accounts effectively
