Job Description:
- Maintain full sets of accounts for multiple funds and corporate entities, including general ledger, bank reconciliations, and journal entries, applying strong accounting fundamentals.
- Accurately process and record daily trades across multiple financial instruments, ensuring correct accounting treatment under IFRS standards.
- Prepare and review financial statements for funds, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal reporting requirements.
- Assist in the consolidation of corporate budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support management decision-making.
- Support tax filings, statutory reporting, and liaise with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, validate, and analyze financial data for reporting purposes. Experience in fund accounting or investment management systems is preferred.
- Undertake additional finance and operational tasks assigned by management to support fund accounting and corporate finance functions.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting with relevant experience in asset/fund management companies.
- Proficient in accounting for various financial instruments, preparing financial statements, and supporting statutory and tax compliance.
- Strong analytical and numerical ability with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with VBA/macro or any programming language preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English, with the ability to prepare professional reports in Chinese.
- High level of integrity and commitment to compliance.
