This position will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting compliance requirements, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance function. The role provides strong exposure to end-to-end finance operations in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee fixed asset accounting, including records maintenance and coordination of asset verification exercises.
- Manage billing, receipts, and review of accounts payable and general ledger transactions.
- Perform quarterly GST reviews and support submission of government survey forms.
- Handle intercompany reconciliations, ensuring accuracy of balances and month/year-end closing activities.
- Prepare monthly financial management reports, supporting schedules, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure completeness of financial data.
- Support the development of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to strengthen reporting accuracy.
- Assist in budget preparation, statutory reporting, and annual audits.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial processes.
- Take on additional finance or administrative tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or equivalent professional qualifications (ACCA/CPA/ACA preferred).
- Big 4 or similar accounting practice background will be an advantage with Commercial Accounting experience
- Strong grasp of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with proven ability to manage full sets of accounts.
- Prior hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel skills.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive, collaborative approach.
- Independent and resourceful, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Keen to contribute ideas for process and system improvements.
