Job Summary
Manage comprehensive accounting functions to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance, supporting business growth and operational efficiency across multiple outlets.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end accounting cycle including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger to maintain accurate financial records.
- Reconcile daily sales by matching POS reports from all outlets with bank statements and delivery platform settlements (GrabFood, Foodpanda) to ensure revenue accuracy.
- Prepare and file quarterly GST returns in compliance with IRAS regulations to maintain tax compliance.
- Verify supplier invoices, reconcile vendor statements, and process payments to support timely and accurate financial transactions.
- Perform month-end closing activities including bank reconciliations, managing accruals, and preparing monthly management reports to provide actionable financial insights.
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum Diploma in Accountancy, LCCI Level 3, or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of Singapore GST regulations to ensure compliance with tax requirements.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- 1-3 years of accounting experience.
- Experience in Food & Beverage or Retail sectors to enhance contextual understanding of industry-specific accounting practices.
