Responsibilities
- Maintaining a full set of accounts including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger
- Prepare, track, verify and process invoices
- Handle reconciliation and ensure accurate and timely month end closing for AP and AR
- Track project budgets, contracts and renewals
- Evaluate and project costs, identify variances, and propose appropriate corrective actions.
- Reconciling bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Management.
Requirements
- At least 2-3 years of working experience in a similar position, preferably in the construction industry
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, including GST regulations and reporting requirements
- Strong proficiency in financial accounting and reporting, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Degree or professional qualification in Accounting or a related field
- Proven ability to work well under pressure while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
