Job Description

The Accountant is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate preparation of accounts, financial reports and statements, as well as provide support in monthly payroll processing.

Maintain full sets of accounts for Singapore entities within the Group.
Prepare monthly closing including manual journal entries, balance sheet and bank reconciliations, financial reports and supporting schedules.
Liaise with customers/suppliers on AR/AP related enquiries regarding invoices, payments and SOA.
Record and reconcile inter-company transactions between different legal entities within the group, ensuring elimination of inter-company balances during consolidation.
Work closely with the team to ensure transactions are recorded in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards.
Assist in Finance transformation tasks such as system implementation and process improvements.
Liaise with auditors, bankers, and local government agencies as required.
Prepare accurate and timely tax submissions.
Prepare weekly cash flow forecast to ensure prudent cash flow management.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or professional certificate such as ACCA or equivalent.
At least 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Prior experience in architecture or interior design services firms will be an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel
Self-starter, hands on, well organized, meticulous, analytical and able to work independently.
A team player who is able to deliver under tight deadlines.
