We are looking for an Accountant to support our finance function. Reporting to Senior Vice President (Finance), this role is responsible for ensuring strong financial controls, accurate management and financial reporting in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Singapore Financial ReportingStandards (SFRS), ensuring efficient AP & AR processes, supporting ERP and other finance initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate monthly management accounts and reporting, in accordance with IFRS and SFRS, supporting consistent application of accounting policies and internal controls
- Responsible for GST reporting, tax computations and filings
- Oversee end-to-end AP & AR processes, including invoicing, payments, collections and reconciliations, etc.
- Monitor ageing, resolve complex vendor/customer issues and support cash flow management
- Ensure compliance with Group policies, Singapore GST and statutory requirements
- Directly liaising with auditors, tax agents, etc.
- Drive process standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives, support ERP system implementation/enhancements to improve finance operations and reporting quality
- Work closely with the other finance team members to support financial reporting and analysis
- Support and guide junior accounting staff, where required
- Assist/support ad-hoc tasks as required
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting / Finance ACCA / CPA / CA preferred
- Minimum 8yearsrelevant experience
- Experienced with general ledger functions and full set accounting and Big 4 experiencepreferred
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and stakeholder management ability
- A team player who is hands-on and meticulous in his/her work.
- Good EQ, strong interpersonal and people management skills
Title/Salary will commensurate with the year of experience
