We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented senior accountant/ Assistant Manager, specialising in the manufacturing industry, to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing full aspects of the manufacturing account process, including but not limited to financial statement preparation, general ledger maintenance, budgeting, costing and variance analysis. The senior accountant will ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Roles & Responsibilities :
.Manage full set of accounts and oversee the entire range of manufacturing functions, preparing monthly audit schedules, management reporting and ensuring timely month-end and year-end financial closing.
.Oversee all financial operations, AR, AP & GL processes, including monitoring cash flows and projections.
.Oversee quarterly GST submission and timely tax filing to ensure compliance.
.Perform accounting for inventory management, including valuation methods, and reconciliation processes, ensuring accurate tracking of raw materials, WIP and finished goods.
.Support the Finance Manager in developing and enforcing financial internal control policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
.Experience in system implementation and recommending process improvements.
.Experience in managing banking facilities, such as AR financing and performing trust receipts.
.Manage external audit processes, ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal control policies.
.Lead and support the finance team's junior staff in executing day-to-day financial operations.
.Work closely and support cross-functional team coordination and alignment on finance processes.
.Review of employees reimbursement claims.
Key Requirements
.Bachelor's degree in accountancy/finance or ACCA .
.Minimum 5 years experience in maintaining full set of manufacturing accounting or strong knowledge of manufacturing processes
.Proficient in MS Office & ERP software ( MES, Yonyou, SAP or Oracle )
.A self-starter who can plan, organise and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently.
.Familiar with Singapore accounting regulations and strong in accounting principles knowledge
.Significant hands-on experience using ERP and implementation experience preferred.
.Fast learner and consistently drive for process improvement.
.Possess a can-do attitude and be able to work in a dynamic start-up environment.
.Workplace based in Tuas South, transport will be provided at the designated pickup point.
