Accountant/Senior Accountant (Gaming/Tech)

About the Role

Our client is a technology company with operations spanning Singapore and multiple overseas markets. They are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage end-to-end financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance across jurisdictions, and support strategic decision-making through robust financial reporting. Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain accounting standards for Singapore and overseas entities in accordance with local and international regulatory requirements
• Oversee full-spectrum accounting operations, including general ledger management, consolidation reporting, and statutory filings
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to meet both local entity and group-level requirements
• Support the integration of subsidiary accounts into the group's central accounting framework, collaborating closely with IT teams on system implementation
• Continuously identify and implement improvements to financial processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and controls
• Manage multi-jurisdictional compliance obligations, including tax declarations and regulatory reporting across relevant markets
• Partner with cross-functional project teams to provide data-driven financial analysis and insights that support business planning and decision-making
• Handle ad-hoc financial tasks and management-assigned responsibilities as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; experience in the technology sector or similarly dynamic industries (is a bonus)
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally with exposure to both a Big 4 public accounting firm and an in-house corporate finance function
• Strong proficiency in financial tools and software, including Excel and presentation tools such as PowerPoint
• Solid knowledge of local and international financial reporting standards (e.g. SFRS, IFRS) and multi-jurisdictional tax compliance requirements
• Sharp analytical thinking, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across functions and seniority levels
