Accountant/ Senior Accountant

Job Summary
This role will be responsible for accounting, financial reporting, internal controls for funds and investment portfolios within a private equity fund management environment. The role includes managing treasury functions, monitoring portfolio KPIs, and supporting the management in communications with stakeholders and government agencies.

Responsibilities

• Execute accounting, reporting, and internal control processes to ensure compliance and accuracy for funds and related investment portfolios
• Administer compliance functions and support specific projects related to portfolio companies as assigned
• Manage treasury operations by monitoring risk and return KPIs across various asset portfolios to optimize financial performance
• Collaborate with the management to prepare and deliver clear communications to stakeholders and government agencies

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CA, or CPA
• Strong accounting knowledge with proficiency in Singapore and International Financial Reporting Standards
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in finance or fund management
• Proficient written and spoken English and Mandarin

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Knowledge of Fund Accounting
