Perform month-end closing of the accounts for the Club.
Prepare monthly management reports, financial statements, and other relevant accounting reports and to ensure the accuracy and timeliness.
Update and monitor weekly cash position.
Assist in the preparation of annual budget of each department.
Assist in year-end audit. Liaise and coordinate with statutory auditors, solicitors, external consultants in all financial matters.
Prepare and submit GST returns.
Handling of cheque issuance for AP, handles AR job scope, monitoring, preparation and reconciliation of prepayments and accruals & other relevant accounting and audit schedules etc.
Prepare financial reports as required by other departments.
Coordinate and preparation of club annual reports.
Verify of monthly payroll before submission for approval.
Supervise a team of finance personnel.
Streamline internal processes to improve efficiency and controls. To help in minimizing club expenses.
Assist in club major events e.g., AGM, Commodores Day, etc.
Any other duties as assigned.
