Position Overview:
The Accountant Reporting is responsible for executing day-to-day reporting tasks within the Group's reporting function. This role focuses on preparing reporting data, maintaining reporting schedules, and supporting management reporting, budget administration, compliance reporting, and investment-related tracking activities.
The role operates under established reporting frameworks, templates, and SOPs, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of assigned tasks. This position is an execution-focused role and does not perform review, approval, or professional judgment functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting Data Preparation & Execution
- Prepare assigned reporting data and schedules in support of monthly management actual reports.
- Update reporting templates and working files in accordance with established timelines and instructions.
- Ensure reporting data is accurate, complete, and properly documented.
Budget Tracking & Support
- Assist in maintaining budget tracking records, including updating approved budget changes.
- Support the processing and documentation of out-of-budget requests as instructed.
- Ensure budget-related data is accurately reflected in reporting schedules.
Investment Reporting Support & Tracking
- Support weekly tracking of investment-related activities, including maintaining records of planned disposals, token sales, or receipts.
- Update investment tracking logs and maintain supporting documentation.
- Follow up on outstanding information requests under guidance from Reporting Team Lead.
Compliance Reporting Support
- Assist in preparing data, schedules, and supporting documents for compliance and regulatory reporting.
- Maintain organized records to support audit or filing-related requirements.
- Perform assigned compliance reporting tasks in accordance with instructions and SOPs.
Process Adherence & Documentation
- Execute reporting tasks in accordance with established SOPs, reporting templates, and internal controls.
- Maintain proper documentation, version control, and audit trails for reporting outputs.
- Escalate data issues, missing information, or execution challenges to Reporting Team Lead.
Team Coordination
- Coordinate with team members to ensure reporting inputs are prepared and submitted on time.
- Support the reporting team in meeting reporting timelines and operational requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting, reporting, or related finance roles.
- Basic understanding of financial reporting and reporting processes.
- Familiarity with budget tracking or reporting support activities is an advantage.
- Exposure to compliance or regulatory reporting processes is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to execute assigned tasks accurately.
- Good communication skills and willingness to follow instructions and established processes.
