Job Description
Reporting directly to the Group Finance Manager, you will be responsible to:
Job Responsibilities
- Handle the full set of accounts from source documents to financial statements, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and fixed assets.
- Perform monthly and year-end closing, including preparation of management accounts, schedules, and variance analysis.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial and management reports for group consolidation and management review.
- Prepare and submit statutory filings, including GST returns and corporate income tax.
- Liaise independently with external auditors, tax agents, vendors, and regulatory authorities.
- Prepare audit schedules and support external audit processes, including audited financial statements.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and detailed account analysis.
- Maintain proper accounting records and documentation in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS/FRS).
- Monitor cash flow, manage payments, collections matters to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Support management with ad-hoc financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and other finance-related duties as required.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, or CPA is an added advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Finance/Accounting.
- Strong hands-on experience in maintaining a full set of accounts independently.
- Good working knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS/FRS), GST, and corporate taxation.
- Highly independent, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Able to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Meticulous, responsible, and confident with strong problem-solving skills.
