Accountant (Healthcare MNC)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join our team as an Accountant. This role is ideal for someone with strong accounts management, financial reporting, analytical skills, and a strategic mindset. You will play a key role in driving financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the Southeast Asia region, while partnering with senior stakeholders to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1) Financial Planning & Analysis

Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.

Drive process improvements and implement best practices across finance operations.

2) Accounts Management (Work with Shared Services Team in MY)

Manage the full sets of accounts, including AP, AR, and GL functions

Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules

3) Financial Reporting

Assist in monthly and annual closing processes

Support preparation of financial statements and management reports

4) Compliance & Controls

Ensure adherence to corporate policies, local regulations, and internal controls.

Oversee accurate and timely financial reporting.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CA/ACCA preferred.

Minimum 4 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Strong knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

Excellent communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel; experience with BI tools is a plus.

Organized, meticulous and a good team player

Auditing experience with Big four is an advantage
