Accountant

Brief Summary

We are seeking a meticulous Accountant to join our finance team. This role involves managing comprehensive accounting functions and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain full sets of accounts for multiple entities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and month-end closing. Process payments and update cash records to ensure alignment with the approved budget. Assist with cash flow monitoring and payment planning. Prepare monthly management reports and financial schedules. Review invoices and quotations, identify discrepancies, and liaise with vendors to resolve issues promptly. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements. Liaise with internal departments, auditors, tax agents, banks, and other external stakeholders as required.

Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Accountancy or a related field. At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounting functions. Experience in audit is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong communication skills and a collaborative team player attitude. Proficiency in MS Excel and financial management software. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high accuracy in financial tasks. Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and prioritize multiple tasks. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
