Job Title: Accountant (Consolidated / Intercompany)
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee consolidated accounting, intercompany billing, and tax compliance across our group structure. This role will manage a team of accounts executives and office administrators, ensure accurate financial reporting, and liaise with the parent company (NEXZ) on supplier payments and forwarding costs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, well-versed in grants and tax regulations, and able to balance hands-on accounting with team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting & Consolidation
. Prepare and review consolidated financial statements across multiple offices.
. Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing.
. Monitor intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and allocations.
2. Taxation, Claims & Grants
. Manage corporate tax filings, including quarterly GST submissions, deferred tax calculations and compliance with tax authority requirements.
. Handle claims, government grants, and related submissions.
. Liaise with auditors and tax authorities where required.
3. Intercompany & Supplier Billing
. Oversee intercompany billing allocation, including headcount divisible.
. Coordinate with parent company (NEXZ) on supplier payments and forwarding costs.
. Track and reconcile cost transfers between group entities.
4. Team Leadership
. Supervise and mentor a team of 12 office administrators handling accounts.
. Provide training, guidance, and process improvements to ensure accuracy.
. Establish financial controls and SOPs across offices.
5. Compliance & Governance
. Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax laws, and internal controls.
. Support management with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Requirements
. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA/ACCA preferred.
. Minimum 6-8 years of experience in accounting, including 2-3 years in consolidation and intercompany billing.
. Strong knowledge of taxation, grants, and claims processes.
. Experience managing a team of finance/admin staff.
. Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-border teams.
