Accountant Lead (WEST - Distribution / FMCG industry)

• Senior Accountant to manage full set of accounts within a fast-paced import and distribution environment.

• The role involves high transaction volume, tight corporate reporting timelines, and supervision of the accounting team.

• Working hours, 8.30 to 5.30pm 1 hour
• Office located in the West

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing

• Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial and management reports to corporate office

• Manage high-volume transactions and maintain data integrity across multiple systems

• Supervise and guide the accounting team to ensure smooth daily operations

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly

• Support budgeting, forecasting, audit, and tax activities

• Strengthen internal controls and drive process improvements/automation initiatives

• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and internal stakeholders

• Support ad hoc finance and corporate reporting projects as assigned

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline

• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience with full set exposure

• Prior experience in import, distribution, FMCG, or high-volume environment preferred

• Hands-on experience with SAP Business One (SAP B1)
