ACCOUNTANT (JUNIOR)

General Ledger & Financial Accounting:

. Maintain and manage full set of accounts, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and adjustments

. Reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis and investigate variances

. Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)

. Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for audit and tax purposes

. Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes

. Assist with preparation of budgets and variance analysis reports

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

. Process vendor invoices and staff claims manage payment schedules

. Generate customer invoices, track collections, and follow up on outstanding payments

. Perform bank and cash reconciliations

Tax & Compliance:

. Assist with preparation and submission of GST filings, withholding tax, and other regulatory reports

. Support statutory audit and tax filing processes with external auditors and tax agents

Administrative & Ad-hoc Duties:

. Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and documentation

. Assist in implementing internal controls and process improvements

. Support cross-functional teams with finance-related queries

Requirements

. Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance

. 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred

. Solid understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), GST, and general ledger processes

. Experience with accounting software (e.g., ERP System Synergix, other ERP systems)

. Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, reconciliations)

. Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to meet deadlines

. Good interpersonal and communication skills

. Able to work independently and with a small team
