Job Title: Junior Accountant

It plays a key role in supporting energy security while investing in the transition toward more sustainable and lower-carbon energy solutions. New Role
Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, lease accounting, reclassifications, and provision adjustments.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding reconciling items on a timely basis.
Prepare financial schedules and supporting documentation for statutory audits, tax compliance, and management reporting.
Maintain accurate general ledger records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
Handle intercompany transactions, including service fee calculations, invoicing, reconciliations, and settlement activities.
Manage the accounts receivable function, including billing, cash application, account reconciliations, and collection support.
Maintain the fixed asset register, overseeing asset capitalization, transfers, disposals, and depreciation activities.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting requirements and analysis.
Participate in SAP S/4HANA enhancement projects, user acceptance testing (UAT), and system improvement initiatives.
Act as a backup Finance Key User, providing first-level system support and coordinating with external support teams on finance-related issues.
Drive process improvements, support internal control reviews, audits, corporate tax activities, and other ad hoc projects as assigned by management.
Key Qualifications for Success
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of relevant accounting experience, with strong exposure to General Ledger and Accounts Receivable functions.
Prior experience in Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets accounting will be viewed favorably.
Experience managing a full set of accounts, preferably within a small or lean finance environment.
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA is required knowledge of SAP Concur would be an added advantage.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting and ERP systems.
Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting processes, and month-end close activities.
Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy, organization, and accountability.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Adaptable and continuous improvement-minded, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment undergoing finance transformation and automation initiatives.
