Accountant

Job Description & Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

1. Handling the overall regional accounting activities of Singapore/Thailand Entity.

2. Reporting to the Regional Finance Manager.

3. Responsible for monthly, quarterly and yearly closing process.

4. Preparation of monthly management reports including analyze financial reports of Singapore and regional entities.

5. Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and procedures for efficiency and accuracy.

6. Prepare and submit quarterly GST return.

7. Liaise with external auditors and tax agents for annual statutory filing.

8. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.

9. Other tasks assigned by Regional Finance Manager.

Job Requirements:

1. At least 5 years of experience in the full spectrum of financial and accounting.

2. Experience in manufacturing industry is preferred.

3. Knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS), principles and procedures.

4. Candidate should be meticulous, careful and have an independent working style.

5. Candidate with China GAAP knowledge is advantageous but not a must.

6. Self-motivated team player with good interpersonal and analytical skills.

7. Mandarin dialect is essential.

Salary package commensurate with experience and qualifications will be negotiated with successful candidate.
