Position Summary
This position is responsible for checking and reconciling provision for expenses of operations divisions. Ensure timely and accurate closing of books and assist the finance manager in yearly budgeting process. Handle full sets of accounts.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform monthly closing and prepare financial statements
- Ensure accuracy of accounting records and compliance with policies
- Analyze financial data and prepare management reports
- Handle full set of accounts and support GST filing and audits
- Coordinate with internal teams on accounting matters
- Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Summary
Experience:
- Min 3 years of relevant experience in handling full sets of bookkeeping.
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or distribution environments is a plus.
Education:
- Min GCE O level or Diploma in related field with relevant prior experience.
Skills:
- Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable and maintaining general ledgers
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information
- Good computer skills including the ability to operate computerized accounting, spreadsheet and word-processing programs.
- Good written and oral communication skills
This is a hybrid role, hence shortlisted candidate has to be comfortable commuting to this job's location in Central and/or West.
