This is a 6-months contract tenure.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review tax-related balance sheet reconciliations for monthly and quarterly US GAAP close
- Ensure timely and accurate statutory financial statements for assigned APAC entities
- Manage relationships and service levels with external vendors supporting statutory reporting
- Coordinate and manage statutory audits with external auditors
- Partner with Tax teams on corporate tax and indirect tax filings
- Lead initiatives to optimize and transform statutory compliance processes, including tool and process enhancements
- Track and coordinate APAC statutory audit activities with regional and global operations teams
- Act as primary contract administrator, owning end-to-end vendor contracting, billing, purchase orders, and issue resolution
- Maintain project trackers, manage risks, and provide progress and planning updates
- Drive continuous process improvement and attend relevant stakeholder meetings
Requirements
- Professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a multinational organization or professional services environment
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
- Strong project delivery experience, including managing tight deadlines
- Advanced analytical capability with strong proficiency in Excel and cloud-based collaboration tools
- Ability to operate independently with a high level of ownership
- Proven experience improving business processes and systems
- Highly collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
