Job Description
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Analyse financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of accounting experience (3 years preferred).
- Working knowledge of Oracle financials module preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access; excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
