As a GL Accountant, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting for the APAC region while ensuring compliance with global policies and accounting standards. You will work closely with regional finance teams and occasionally with counterparts in the US headquarters.

Description
- Manage month-end closing activities including journals, accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets
- Prepare P&L, balance sheet, and management reports for regional entities
- Perform GL account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Support internal and external audit requirements (GAAP/SOX environment)
- Liaise with business units to resolve accounting queries and ensure reporting accuracy
- Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements
- Participate in regional or global finance projects when required
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience (GL, full sets, audit, or financial reporting)
- Prior exposure to multi‑entity environments is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight reporting timelines
- Team-oriented, hands-on, and proactive mindset
