What You'll Be Doing

Partner with the regional accounting team to ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end closing.
Review Balance Sheet account reconciliations and follow up on outstanding or unreconciled items.
Analyse financial performance and prepare insightful variance analysis for management review.
Provide accounting and financial support to various departments and business units.
Prepare GST and withholding tax returns, declarations and relevant supporting documentation.
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, financial controls and operational efficiency.
Support the implementation of process and internal control enhancements.
Liaise with banks on treasury and banking-related matters.
Coordinate quarterly and year-end stock take activities.
Coordinate year-end fixed asset sighting exercises.
Work closely with internal and external auditors to address audit queries and follow up on recommendations.
Support year-end tax filing activities.
Participate in ad-hoc accounting and finance projects, business analysis and other management initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline, and above, or equivalent professional qualifications.
2-3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with exposure to General Ledger (GL) functions.
Experience with accounting software Oracle experience would be an advantage.
Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
Hands-on, collaborative and solution-oriented approach.
Proactive, self-motivated and adaptable, with a willingness to learn.
Able to manage multiple priorities, work independently and meet deadlines.
