Job Summary
Join a MAS-registered Singapore Single Family Office managing diversified petrochemical and manufacturing interests as an Accountant supporting finance operations and investment portfolio management.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting tasks including preparing journal entries and maintaining ledgers to ensure accurate financial records.
- Prepare periodic financial reports to support decision-making and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards to maintain regulatory and internal compliance.
- Accurately update trades using cloud-based investment management software to maintain portfolio integrity.
- Reconcile portfolio trades and balances with banks and custodians to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree in accounting or finance from a reputed university.
- 2 to 4 years of accounting experience in relevant functions.
- Experience working in a family office or private equity/venture capital firms preferred but not essential.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong learning agility and willingness to collaborate within a lean, multi-ethnic team.
- Effective written and oral communication skills in English.
