Accountant

Accountant Responsibilities:

• Independently manage and control all aspects of accounting and bookkeeping of subsidiaries for Malaysia and Taiwan
• Handling of daily bookkeeping
  • Responsible for accounts receivables/payables
  • Ensure a timely month-end closing using SAP B1
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports, and local statutory financial statements
  • Handle local audit and government inspections if necessary

Cash management:

• Maintain cash and bank journal, prepare monthly bank reconciliation, monitor payment terms and cash forecast

Tax:

• Handle tax-related issues and reports together with local tax consultants

Requirements:

• Highly independent, reliable and confident to take on financial responsibility
• Minimum 3-5 years working experience in a related position
• Proficiency in accounting
• Good Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Critical thinking, proactive and problem-solving oriented mind-set
• Work experience in an international company is a plus
