Handle a spectrum of finance-related activities that includes Financial Accounting/Reporting, Month-end close, Audit Schedule, Audits and Tax Compliance.
Enter, verify, and post Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) invoices into XERO accounting software
Generate and issue customer invoices
Process supplier payments and resolve billing discrepancies to maintain vendor relationships and accurate accounts
Liaise with the Corporate Secretary to ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements
Collaborate with management to identify and implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
Manage statutory filings and meet deadlines for IRAS, GST, Auto-Inclusion Scheme (AIS), Government-Paid Leave (GPL), and CPF submissions to ensure regulatory compliance
Administer Payroll, CPF contributions, Auto-Inclusion Scheme (AIS), Government-Paid Leave (GPL), and NSmen payments to ensure accurate employee compensation and statutory adherence
Provide administrative support to facilitate smooth operations
Execute other ad-hoc duties assigned by management to support business needs
Required competencies and certifications
Minimum Degree in Accountancy or related qualification and above
Minimum 3 years of working experience in Consolidated Accountant / Accountant role
Minimum 1 year Human Resource functioning experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel (MUST) to perform data analysis and reporting
Demonstrated ability to work independently with strong analytical skills and a positive attitude
Highly motivated, analytical, hands-on, multi-tasking
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate within a team and with stakeholders
Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a dynamic small company environment
