Job Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Handle full sets of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, and month-end closing activities.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and internal accounting policies.
- Maintain proper documentation and support audit preparation and tax filings.
Cost Accounting & Analysis
- Perform cost accounting functions, including product costing, cost variance analysis, and standard cost updates.
- Monitor inventory valuation, stock movements, and cost of goods sold (COGS).
- Provide cost insights to support pricing strategies, budgeting, and operational efficiency.
Systems & Process Management
- Manage and maintain accounting workflows within Oracle NetSuite.
- Optimise system usage for reporting, financial control, and process automation.
- Support internal controls, compliance requirements, and continuous process improvements.
Business Support
- Work closely with the Managing Director to provide financial insights, forecasts, and decision support.
- Assist in budgeting, cash flow planning, and financial performance monitoring.
- Liaise with banks, auditors, tax agents, and external stakeholders where required.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is required due to statutory reporting and compliance responsibilities.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in medical devices, healthcare, or trading/manufacturing environments.
- Strong cost accounting experience and understanding of inventory and product costing.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite is required.
- Proficient in MS Excel and financial analysis.
- Strong attention to detail, good analytical skills, and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with management and cross-functional teams.
