Our client, a leading Main Contractor company, is seeking a meticulous and proactive individual to join their team as a Accountant.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day financial operations including AP/AR, intercompany transactions, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing for multiple entities.

• Maintain accurate accounting records, audit schedules, and ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and internal policies.

• Support group consolidation activities, including consolidation entries, schedules, and updates for joint ventures and associates.

• Coordinate annual statutory audits, group reporting, and statutory filings, working closely with external auditors and tax advisors (GST and corporate tax).

• Prepare management reports, perform variance analysis, and support annual budgeting and rolling forecasts.

• Oversee treasury activities including cash flow monitoring, working capital management, bank settlements, and liaison with financial institutions.

• Liaise with Company Secretary on corporate secretarial matters, statutory returns, and maintenance of entity records.

• Ensure strong internal controls and governance processes, support system-related accounting matters, and provide guidance to team members as needed.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with relevant experience in finance or group accounting environments.

• Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Effective communicator able to work independently and collaborate with stakeholders across different levels.

• Familiarity with consolidation accounting and financial systems (e.g. Yardi, Cognos) is an advantage but not mandatory.

• Working hours: 5 Days
• Salary: up to S$5,500 and Bonus (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
