We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Account Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in handling bookkeeping for multiple companies and be familiar with Singapore's accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage bookkeeping for multiple companies.
- Handle accounting tasks using Xero software.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly Profit & Loss (P&L) reports.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards, including GST submission and corporate tax filing.
- Assist in financial record keeping, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc accounting and administrative tasks.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to support business operations.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support management decision-making.
- Perform bank reconciliation and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Maintain proper filing of accounting records and documents for audit purposes.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and government authorities when required.
Requirements:
- Good command of both English and Chinese (written and spoken) to liaise with clients and business partners.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards (GST, tax, P&L reporting).
- Proficient in Xero accounting software.
- Attention to detail, responsible, and able to work independently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
