Duties & Responsibilities
- Defines and implements Group Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable strategy
- Manage the full cycle of Accounts Receivable including invoicing, collections and reconciliations.
- Ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with Company policies and procedures
- Ensures efficient credit management process for Accounts Receivable, follow up outstanding invoices with customers / fronters / policy holders by emails, calls and work with Operations Team to resolve AR billing issues.
- Meets month end closing timelines with a high quality delivery
- Provides financial support to other offices in Asia Pacific & Middle East
- Performs monthly general ledger reconciliations and In Control reconciliations
- Passes accounting documents to the local accounting service partner regularly and handles queries (if any)
- Cash allocation
- Assists in finance processes automations
- Assists Regional Finance Manager in internal audit
- Assists in annual audit of collections entities in the region
- Any other tasks assigned
Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree/diploma in Finance / Accounting, or related discipline with 5+ years of accounting experience
2. Good spoken and written English and Chinese
3. Strong accounting knowledge and background (AP, AR and GL)
7. Being able to work under pressure, in critical situations and under tight timelines
8. Strong analytical skills and high competency to work with Microsoft Excel
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook)
10. Good knowledge of SEA operations, GAAPs, taxes and relevant statutory rules and regulations
11. Solid finance and accounting skills and understanding
12. Preferably knowledge of Oracle Financials and/or Hyperion
13. Accounting knowledge for countries (SEA, Australia, UAE, Singapore) is a plus
14. Immediate available is preferable
Salary and other benefits:
Medical Insurance
Annual salary range: SGD 60,000 - 66,000 depends on experience
Annual bonus: variable bonus up to 10% of annual base salary
Annual leave: 20 days
