Position Overview:
As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of our company. You will be responsible for overseeing various accounting functions, including month-end closing, full set accounting, and have meticulous attention to detail. Key Responsibilities:
- Able to work independently on full spectrum of accounting functions, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting to Singapore HQ.
- Perform month-end closing activities which include maintaining of general ledger, posting of journals, bank reconciliation, preparing schedules for accounts receivable, accounts payable, intercompany transactions, and fixed assets schedule.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Preparation of audit schedules and liaison with external auditors.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, as needed.
- Identify inefficiencies in existing accounting processes and implement technology automation solutions to streamline them.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing.
- Handling any other ad-hoc administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Experience in payments industry, settlements and reconciliation process is preferred.
- Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in handling full set accounting.
