Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities while also providing support in office administration and basic HR operations.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting and be comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a lean and fast-paced environment. The candidate should possess strong organizational, communication and time-management skills, along with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Accounting & Finance
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), invoicing and expense claims.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure accounting records are accurate and up to date.
- Assist with month-end closing and preparation of financial reports.
- Support external and internal audits by preparing required schedules and documentation.
- Maintain proper financial records and ensure timely processing of accounting transactions.
- Ensure accounting documentation is maintained accurately and systematically.
Office Administration
- Support day-to-day office administration activities.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers.
- Maintain office records, documents and administrative files.
- Coordinate office-related requirements and support smooth day-to-day operations.
- Assist with procurement of office supplies and other administrative requirements.
HR Support
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Assist with attendance and leave administration.
- Support payroll coordination.
- Coordinate with employees and relevant stakeholders on routine HR-related matters.
- Ensure employee documentation is maintained accurately and confidentially.
Candidate Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Hands-on experience in AP, AR, invoicing, bank reconciliation and expense management.
- Exposure to month-end closing, financial reporting and audit support.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Good understanding of general accounting principles and financial record keeping.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a lean and fast-paced environment.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Exposure to office administration and HR support will be an advantage.
- Must be Singaporean / Singapore PR.
