Job Description
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned entities, managing stakeholder requests efficiently and maintaining strong collaboration.
- Handle Fixed Assets (FA), General Ledger (GL), and Closing & Reporting activities, including monthly reporting, forecasts, and annual budgeting.
- Prepare half-year and year-end financial statements for loan compliance.
- Manage FA bookkeeping, including additions, transfers, depreciation, impairments, and disposals.
- Perform accurate and timely GL bookkeeping, including ongoing and period-end postings.
- Execute closing processes and support both internal and external reporting in line with Group Finance timelines.
- Investigate and resolve processing errors within assigned areas.
- Manage cash flow activities, including fixed deposit placements and cash flow projections.
- Handle tax-related matters such as GST, property tax, income tax, and related documentation.
- Liaise with tax agents on complex queries and perform technical accounting assessments.
- Support KPI data collection, preparation, and reporting across FA, GL, and reporting functions.
- Assist in reviewing financials and supporting reporting requirements.
- Support loan administration, including tracking drawdowns, repayments, and projections.
- Manage excess cash administration, including fixed deposit placements and rollover planning.
The Successful Applicant
- Has 6 years of accounting and commercial experiences with at least 2 years of audit experience within O&G industries
- Has a degree in accountancy
- Familiar with complex accounting 116 leases, tax treatments, corporate tax and deferred tax, taxable, non deductibles, and GST
- Strong experience in SAP systems and MS Office Excel
- Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
- Able to travel to Jurong Island.
