Accountant (12-months contract)

We are partnering with a well-established single family office in Singapore to appoint an Accountant on a 12-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for finance professionals who enjoy working in a lean, fast-paced environment with exposure to investment, corporate, and treasury-related accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of accounting activities, including AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Process payments and monitor cash flow across multiple entities and bank accounts.
• Assist with investment-related accounting, including recording portfolio transactions and maintaining supporting schedules.
• Reconcile investment portfolios with custodians and external service providers.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives and finance-related projects as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–6 years of accounting experience, preferably within a family office, investment management, private equity, asset management, or financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Meticulous, organised, and able to work independently in a lean team.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
