Job Description

Responsibilities

  1. Handle day-to-day accounting (AR, AP, Inventory, GL) and treasury related functions (cash management operation activities) of the company. Ensure financial transactions recorded are following IFRS and Yara policy
  2. Responsible for all month-end and year end activities (monthly journals, schedules, and reconciliations) and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to HQ
  3. Conduct User Acceptance Test (UAT) for the upgrading of SAP ECC to SAP S4 Hana.
  4. Ensure that the internal control processes are being followed and are in line with Yara policy
  5. Assist in internal and external audit procedures.
  6. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across organization (eg projects within different functions) to ensure smooth process and positive working relationship
  7. Facilitate resolution of accounting issues with stakeholders, using the functional expertise
  8. Maintain proper documentation and filing for accounting and tax compliance
  9. Handle ad hoc assignments

Profile

  1. Diploma/Degree in Accountancy.
  2. 3-5 years professional experience in bookkeeping
  3. Strong attention to details, numerical accuracy and communication skills.
  4. Able to manage tight deadlines at month end.
  5. Team player and committed to foster collaboration
  6. SAP Experience (ECC/ S/4 HANA) required.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft office, especially Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Words.

Additional Information

  • Able to commit for the full 12 months period from May 2026 to April 2027
